3.                  Presentation, discussion, and possible action on a Community Wayfinding Analysis and Program Design.

 

4.                  Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding requirements for infrastructure in the City of College Station’s Exterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ).

 

5.                  Discussion and possible action on future agenda items – A Council Member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given.  A statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given.  Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting.

8.                  Executive Session will immediately follow the workshop meeting in the Administrative Conference Room.

 

            Consultation with Attorney (Gov’t Code Section 551.071); possible action The City      Council may seek advice from its attorney regarding a pending and contemplated             litigation subject or settlement offer or attorney-client privileged information.  Litigation           is an ongoing process and questions may arise as to a litigation tactic or settlement offer,    which needs to be discussed with the City Council.  Upon occasion the City Council may           need information from its attorney as to the status of a pending or contemplated litigation subject or settlement offer or an attorney-client privileged information.  After executive session discussion, any final action or vote taken will be in public.  The following             subject(s) may be discussed:

Economic Incentive Negotiations {Gov’t Code Section 551.087}; possible action

The City Council may deliberate on commercial or financial information that the City Council has received from a business prospect that the City Council seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the city with which the City Council in conducting economic development negotiations may deliberate on an offer of financial or other incentives for a business prospect.  After executive session discussion, any final action or vote taken will be in public.  The following subject(s) may be discussed:

 

1.      The proposed city conference center and associated privately developed hotel.

Consent Agenda

 

12.1                Presentation, discussion, and possible action to approve Minutes of Workshop and Regular Meeting of December 9, 2004.

 

12.2                Presentation, discussion, and possible action concerning a resolution of the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas approving a construction contract, Bid No. 05-51, Contract No. 05-113, with Fuqua Construction in the amount of $293,968.00 for the construction of Intergenerational Upgrades/Additions to 13 Neighborhood Parks.

 

12.3                Presentation, discussion, and possible action on consideration of an ordinance amending Chapter 10, Section 3E(2)(i)(11), of the College Station Code of Ordinances changing the posted speed limit on the section of Greens Prairie Road between State Highway 6 and Castlegate Drive from 55 mph to 40 mph.

 

12.4                Presentation, discussion, and possible action on consideration of an ordinance amending Chapter 10, Section 2F, of the College Station Code of Ordinances regarding the Traffic Control Device Inventory, Schedule V (School Zones).

13.1     Presentation, discussion, and possible action on a Rezoning consisting of an 8.542-acre tract located at the northeast corner of the proposed extension of Pebble Creek Parkway and Alum Creek floodplain from A-O, Agricultural-Open to R-1, Single-family Residential.

 

14.       The City Council may convene the executive session following the regular meeting to discuss matters posted on the executive session agenda for March 10, 2005.

 

15.       Final action on executive session, if necessary.

 

16.       Adjourn.

 

If litigation issues arise to the posted subject matter of this Council Meeting an executive session will be held.
